Dream - Contagious
April 6th, 2008 by Me
I haven’t kept a dream diary in a while. I had another blog a while back where I kept a record about what I dreamed of. I’ve been thinking about starting again but I think I’ll put the dreams here.
This one starts out as me visiting a Catholic girl school, though it’s way out in the wood and away from people. It was a nice set up with a big building in the center for the church and a few classrooms and the girl’s different dorm rooms and other areas surrounding.
So I’m in the main central building and I’m talking to one of the teachers there, and then we hear a lot of commotion and a loud shouting. The lady and I rush into the chapel part of the building, and the main priest is shouting for people to get out. He caught something and it was contagious. Before my eyes he was growing weak, falling to the floor. There were a couple other people in the room too, them too were falling.
So with the lady, we rush through back to the school part of the building and get everyone to run out, calling the police and of course a lot of that. We sort of learn it was something brought upon from the outside. Someone seeking to harm had sent something to the school that made people sick.
Finally the commotion is calmed, the people who caught the disease died or something, but they weren’t there later. Like people didn’t get there in time to save them.
We go back, and a group of us collect in the chapel to figure out what to do. The lady is there again and we’re talking, a number of the girls are in there. Suddenly a girl comes up and hands the lady a key chain. It is her key chain apparently, she had dropped it when running out of the school.
The lady looks at it for a long time in her hand, saying that something didn’t look right. A mist begins to form in the room. Then all of a sudden she starts looking weak, and she kneels and shouts at everyone to leave before collapsing to the floor.
Some of us realize the mist is poisonous, so we’re running from the room again. The older ones and myself are shouting to the girls to hold their breaths and run outside. There’s another rush out, however the girls are dropping all around. Especially the little ones. A small handful make it outside with me. Some run into another building, one of the small dorms, and lock themselves inside.
With the handful that are with me, we run off away from the school grounds, to a neighborhood that is the closest place around. It doesn’t look like many people are home but we run across this semi that just happens to have the keys in the ignition. I get all the girls in the cab and then drive down to… I think it was a local eatery. We get out and we’re shouting at these people about what is going on. A cop strolls up to us, and we’re telling him about what’s going on.
He takes us to a back room in the eatery. He pretends to listen for a little while but then he keeps eying one of the teenage girls in her uniform and doesn’t appear to be too interested to call people up to go help the ones that were sick. I get so mad I punch at him to knock him over and the girls leave the room with me.
Back out in the eatery, we’re pleading to people to come and help. Another cop is sitting down at a table, and is shaking his head. We shout loudly about how big brave cops are afraid to go help a bunch of little girls who were sick.
Unfortunately, the group of patrons got angry over the cop and started to riot. It was nice to see them standing up to the cop to do the right thing, but the people were harping on the cop to do something about it, instead of going themselves. It was sort of pointless.
After that, the dogs woke me up. It was all rather scary. Especially the end and imagining that human nature being like that.
