Fighting for a Page

Wow. Yesterday I had I guess Writer’s Depression. That moment in time where you are so sure everything you have written sucks and you are seriously considering another line of work. You regret ever signing contracts or even being published. You wish you could get some comfortable desk job somewhere and forget it ever happened.
Yikes, right?
I was trying to force myself to write a page. Just one. Just to show myself up later and say “hey, look, you can write, nitwit, so stop wasting time already.”
But then, when you’re that bad off, sometimes you need a nap and then later become inspired again by reading or watching something that makes you feel great.
By this morning I am already at work on my novels and looking to complete them. I have high hopes to complete these novels this month. With four rough drafts to edit then, I’ll have all of next month to polish, tighten, edit and rewrite. I might do it one at time but then I thought about just working on which ever book I feel like at the moment.
Mmm… that’s for the future though. In the mean time, this film making hobby is rather fun. I never thought it could be like that. I have plans to create several series of films. I’ll have to find a balance somehow, between working on novels and creating films. Oh and of course the other writing jobs I have.
