Holy crow, Batman. I’m tired. 
I’ve been looking for more work. Yikes! As in, projects that would lead to a very nice chunk of change. As in more than a few hundred dollars.
 I have one like that right now, though I’m slow at getting started. I’m looking for more part time work with nonfic kid publishers.
I’m finding out that it is not so easy to locate updated information. That’s about half the battle. The other half is trying to figure out how to contact, what they want in submissions, etc.
Why can’t there be just one place that says ‘here we are. send us this.’ Writer’s Market is a good resource, but it doesn’t have everything. (I’m not just learning this, but just refiguring it out.
Current goal, to save up $5000 for a down payment for a new house. Yes! Well not new house. Hubby and I are tired of moving. We want our own place. In a state we would enjoy living in. (SC, NC, or VA… I’m voting for VA!)
So… guess who is in charge of saving as much as possible? That’s on top of paying all the bills like I usually do. 
Yay. Yeah, I’ll be working hard. I’ll try to keep up and post information about what I am looking at, where I’m finding job leads, etc. I’ll mostly be using the links on my own website anyway. Yes, I do use the durn things. Why do you think I put them there?
