Okay. I messed up. Sort of.
I got the urge to query this morning, so I’m browsing through online business magazines looking for an idea. I get one, I hobble over to find an email address and use my open email window to write the idea out.
Fleshing it out. Fleshing it out. Okay got it. Now double check spelling and stuff in Word. A few words wrong, and a grammar issue. Back to the email window, read through one more time, add signature, read through again. Send.
Duh.
Where’s the editor’s name?
At least I didn’t have it as “Dear Editor” in the hopes that I’d replace editor with the actual name. I put Hello, as my opener. But still, a name would have been better.
That’s what I get for rushing. Ugh.
Anyway, after that, I get to eat pizza and chug along on my fiction editing. Oi. The life.
