Who Says It Is Low Pay?

Angela asked a great question about low paying writing jobs. How low is too low?
Some are appauld by the idea of working at $9 an hour, but it seems as if most of the writers agreed… they can be great for new writers.

So here’s what I’m thinking… competition for the low paying jobs might not be as bad as most new writers think. The ones that most pro writers wouldn’t touch. If you have half way decent skills, why work for $2 an article when with a little bit of extra work (and I mean, very little), you could get $35 for the same article.
I think there were some great responses to the question. Depending on where you live, $9 an hour would be welcome as a starting point. Look how much the pros are requesting though! I saw some as high as $65. That’s great news for people wondering what they could achieve in a few years. Most of the writers admit that it took them only a short while to start boosting their rates.
What do you think?
